StyleSnoop is an independent style-inspiration publication for Indian shoppers. We put together outfit edits and practical styling guides to help you answer the everyday question we all face in front of the mirror: what do I wear, and how do I wear it?

Who we are

StyleSnoop is an independent publication run by a small editorial team based in India. We're shoppers and style enthusiasts ourselves — not a brand, a retailer, or a PR agency — which is why our notes focus on real-life wearability and budget rather than selling you anything. Why we started StyleSnoop

We started StyleSnoop because most outfit inspiration online either assumes a big budget or stops at the photo without explaining how to actually wear the look. We wanted a place that takes everyday outfits and breaks down the why — the colour, fabric, silhouette, and styling logic — so getting dressed feels less like guesswork.

What we do

We're a styling publication, not a shop and not a product-testing lab. Our value is the styling perspective — taking a look and explaining why it works, how to wear it, who it suits, and how to recreate the vibe on a real budget. You'll find two kinds of content here:

• Style Edits — outfit-by-outfit breakdowns across ethnic, casual, and formal/workwear, with colour, fabric, and silhouette notes and ideas for how to style each look.
• Style Guides — longer how-to articles: styling formulas, buying guides, colour-pairing tips, and fabric-care advice you can actually use.

How we curate

We choose the imagery and write the accompanying styling notes ourselves. Our content is researched and AI-assisted, then reviewed and edited by our team before it goes live. We focus on looks that translate to real life and on guidance that's genuinely useful for shoppers in India.

To be clear about what we are and aren't: we don't claim to have personally bought or wear-tested every garment shown. What we offer is editorial styling opinion and practical guidance — the kind of advice a stylish friend would give you — not lab measurements or paid endorsements.

Every piece shows its published date, and when we revise or expand an article we update its "Updated" date too. The full process — how a piece gets made, what we'll never claim, and how corrections work — is written up in our Editorial Policy.

What "Style Score" means

Each Style Edit carries a Style Score (our star rating). It reflects our subjective editorial take on how strong and wearable we find the look — it's a styling opinion, not a product test. Prices shown are approximate guidance to give you a rough sense of budget; always check the retailer for the current price.

How StyleSnoop is funded

StyleSnoop is free to read. We're funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads help keep the site free and independent, and advertising never influences which looks we feature or what we say about them. You can read more on our Advertising Policy page.
