The reason it stretches across all three is that nothing in the outfit commits to a specific occasion — the fabric is light, the palette is neutral, and the silhouette is relaxed. Sneakers and a canvas tote make it a Saturday-errands look; a brown sling and sandals make it brunch; gold hoops and strappy flats push it toward a beach-town dinner. Taupe-on-cream: the stripe that goes with everything
